From 'is now a good time to buy?' to automated market intelligence

I trade crypto. Not day trading. strategic accumulation during fear, selling during greed.

The problem: I'd check prices randomly, miss good entries, or panic during drops without historical context. I wanted something simple: wake up, check a report, know if today matters.

"Build me a daily market analysis system. BTC price, drawdown from ATH, funding rates, fear & greed, on-chain metrics. Alert me when something is significant."

What I wanted

Intelligence, not data. BTC status with price and drawdown percentage. Sentiment indicators. Fear & Greed Index, funding rates. On-chain health. stablecoin supply, TVL trends. Macro context. DXY correlation. And smart alerts that only fire when something actually matters.

Not a dashboard. Not charts I have to interpret. A morning briefing that tells me: pay attention today, or ignore the market.

What got built

Five data sources. Binance, Yahoo Finance, DefiLlama, Alternative.me. A cron job that runs every morning at 8 AM, updates all data, generates the report. Smart alerts that only fire when drawdown exceeds 20%, or extreme fear/greed, or high funding, or stablecoin outflows.

Historical analysis that examines all 30%+ BTC drops and their rebounds. Correlation tracking with traditional markets.

What changed

Before: I'd check CoinGecko randomly. Miss dips. Panic during drops without knowing if they were significant historically.

Now: I wake up, check one report, and know. Are we in a significant drawdown? Is sentiment extreme? Are longs overleveraged? Is money flowing in or out?

The system has historical context built in. When BTC drops 30%+, it shows me previous drops and their rebounds. That's not data. That's decision support.

I check one report per day. The system tells me when to pay attention and when to ignore the noise. Built in one conversation. Runs automatically every morning.
